Bohr's model of atom has fixed orbits of electrons with whole numbers like 1,2,3,4. He explains that when the atom gets input of energy the electrons jump to higher orbit. This is logically incorrect, because the fixed orbits would mean that after an input of energy, the electrons would have to jump INSTANTANEOUSLY to higher orbit. INSTANTANEOUS motion does not exist. Every motion takes time. Just like when you travel in a car and you press gas pedal, the car is not jumping INSTANTANEOUSLY TO the desired speed. It doesn't go from 50 to 100 km/hr without taking ANY time. All the nature's laws are dependent on each other in smooth relationships.
