Specific Heat Capacity To calculate the temperature loss of two mixed liquids with different specific heat capacity, different masses and different temperatures you do not have to do it mathematically, you can apply my equation:

(T1-T2) m2*c2

T= ------------------------

(m1*c1)+(m2*c2)

T1, T2 - temperatures of the liquids

m1, m2 - masses of the liquids

c1, c2 - specific heat capacities of the liquids

For liquids with the same specific heat capacity it would be simpler because specific heat capacity would be of no concern. The equation would be then:

(T1-T2) m2

T= ---------------

m1+ m2
